 5.

How do I submit verification documents?

Before you submit your eligibility verification documents, please make sure you have created an account (so that we can make that account eligible to order).

All documents can be submitted
 • by fax to 408-519-3260 or
 • by e-mail to [email protected].

You will receive a confirmation e-mail when your documents have been processed, usually within 24 hours. Please be aware that at the beginning of the main academic terms (late August through September and late January through February) volume is high and verification may take longer.

 6.

Is the product a full-version?

With the price so low, we are often asked whether these Adobe products are limited versions. These products are functionally identical to the retail or academic boxed products you will find at much higher prices. Because of the special licensing contract between your school and Adobe, you are able to enjoy these highly discounted prices as a student, faculty or staff member of that school. The actual item shipped will be the media CD or DVD only, and the product will not come in the usual boxed package, but these are fully-licensed, legal copies of the Adobe products that have identical features and functionalities as the boxed products.

Additionally, after you graduate or leave the school, you are able to legally use it for your personal use.

 7.

Why can't I put items in the shopping cart to create an order?

Before you can purchase items offered in this special program, we MUST have your student-enrollment or faculty/staff-employment verification paperwork on file. If you have not submitted the paperwork, please do so, and we will notify you by e-mail once we have received and processed your verification. You will then be able to put items in the shopping cart and then submit your order.

 8.

I received an e-mail that I am approved to order, but I still can not add items to my cart. Why?

It is probable that you created more than one account. Because of the rules Adobe has set for this program, we can only approve one account per student or faculty/staff employee. If you have received an e-mail stating that you are approved to order, please attempt to login with another username and password that you may have set up.

 9.

Exactly what will I be receiving when I order my product?

Your product is functionally identical to the boxed products that you can purchase at a retail store. Because this is a student licensing product, your software will not come in the commercial boxed packaging. You will receive the media CD or DVD set in a media case only.

 10.

How do I obtain the product serial number?

Once you receive your media, you can activate the product by following the directions that come inside the media case. You will be instructed to go to www.adobe.studentlicensing.com. You will be prompted to enter the coupon code that is included with the media. After submitting a valid coupon number, your serial number will be provided so that you can run the software.

If you have any installation issues or difficulty retrieving your serial number, e-mail [email protected]. Be sure to include your name, address, school name, coupon code (found on a paper inside the media case) and the Adobe product purchased. You will receive a response by e-mail from Adobe within 48 hours.

 12.

When will I receive my product?

Your software will arrive at your shipping address approximately 2 - 7 business days from the date you place the order.

 14.

Return Policy:

Since the price for this Adobe student discount program is highly discounted, Adobe does NOT allow the product to be returned once it's purchased. Any damaged or missing disk issues should be directed to Adobe at: [email protected]. For technical support issues go to www.adobe.com/support/service.html.

 15.

Will I be able to install the student license from a trial version?

No, you will need to delete the trial version prior to installing the full version of the student license software.

 16.

Can I install an Adobe Student & Teacher License on more than one computer?

Yes, you can install and use the software on one secondary computer of the same platform at home or on a portable computer. However, you may not run the software simultaneously on both the primary and secondary computers. You may not split the components of a suite (e.g. Design & Web Premium) between multiple computers; the license is for the entire suite.

 18.

Do I have to be a full time student or employee or enrolled in a design class or program?

No, you only have to be enrolled or employed currently at a participating school. There is no minimum number of course units/credits or hours worked required, and you do not have to be enrolled in any particular class, program or major.

 19.

Can I still use my software when I am no longer a student?

Yes, the student license is a perpetual license; its use is not tied to your continued status as a student.

 20.

It looks like I am missing the first disk in my media set. What do I do?

Look under the paper that has your coupon code that is on the inside of the front cover of the media case. This is often where the first disk is located.

 21.

I have entered my coupon code to retrieve my serial number and it says it is invalid. What do I do?

This is almost always caused by confusion over the number 0 vs the letter O, or the number 1 vs the letter I. On the coupon code, the number 0 will have a line through it and the letter I will have a top and bottom line (serifs).

If you have verified that you are entering the correct series of numbers and letters, and still can't retrieve your serial number, please contact [email protected] for assistance.
